My brother does not know how to put air in a tyre, many people are like that, all a mistery to them.Could be the light but it looked like damp stains or cracks in the roof above the rear lounge to me. And what is it with people flogging stuff without fixing simple things like a fridge vent? It just makes me think if they can't be arsed to stick a £15 plastic cover on a vent what else have they not been arsed to look at?

Mathewsons don't do any work on vehicles that are put into auction by the public other than maybe jump start them so they can say ir's a runner. It's quite possible it has been put to auction just to get it out of the way by a family member. These are professional sellers though Trev. Its just being sloppy and lazy.
It is an auction house. probably a part exchange and dealer doesn't want to put any time or money into it.These are professional sellers though Trev. Its just being sloppy and lazy.

makes it a nice easy flip if all it needed was a vent to make £500. and maybe other bits like that. go for it!Its a fridge vent. They are peanuts, takes 2 minutes to fit. The more it makes the more they make. Might mean the difference of £500-£1000 in the sale price. As said, it would put me off.
That would switch me on, few bucks spent and as you say a extra £500 to a grand on sale price, i love a fast flip. Its a fridge vent. They are peanuts, takes 2 minutes to fit. It could be that it was stolen whilst sat at the auction site, it is amazing what people will steal,Its a fridge vent. They are peanuts, takes 2 minutes to fit. The more it makes the more they make. Might mean the difference of £500-£1000 in the sale price. As said, it would put me off.
Caveat emptor-buyer beware is something that is paramount when buying from auction. An auction house has no duty of care to buyers when it comes to selling, although they cannot purposefully mislead in descriptions when it is an online auction with no viewing days. If you bought a Rolex watch, described as a Rolex watch but was actually a battery watch made in India you would have a pretty good case for your money back either way
The duty of care to sellers goes only as far as achieving the best price possible.
The chap in the video, who clearly knows nothing about MH's and doesn't know a wet room from a parrot, would be safe in his description should the buyer try to get their money back.
I think in the chaps case I would have just let the video do the talking.I noticed that Ral - "No shower". I suppose they can't be experts in all vehicles though but you would think they would do some research/preparation before making a video!
I suppose the volume of videos they have to make hampers that though?

Repeat that please.I'd like a parrot.
