It's the Daily Fail, what do you expect, also states the road was '70mph' so what, and includes a stock photo of a splitty which it's unlikely to be at 2.5L

My Dad taught me to drive when I was 13/14 on large sites that he worked at, I used to go with him in the school holidays and drive his van around all day whilst waiting for him to finish work.

Once he was happy that I could drive ok he would chuck me the keys and ask me to pop to the shops and get fags for him at weekends.

Thats what i did, old bantams c15 villers and a few austin 40 for maybe a fiver, ran them to the death round fields to tey died, many i sold on for profit.

I did that for more than 2 years, somehow though I think the landlord knew.

Had exactly the same conversation. My bestie back in the day, and me would go to the pub and by the time we got to the bar there was already a couple of pints pulled for us. (Three men in a boat, Walsall)

Me and my mate had been doing a Friday night pub crawl for over a year. It was late August and the barman in the pub we always started off in, refused to serve us because, he said, we were underage.

My mate went off to teacher training college a week later and I haven't seen him since in over 50 years.
