DFSK fully electric camper van

Reading the review in the link below Mark (unconverted van), when you consider the payload, performance, range and handling I would say that it is totally unsuitable as a camper.
Yes, I looked up the specs. 1020kg payload ain't bad for a little van, but yes max range of 240 km (without the box on the back) ain't no good to me,

Sorry I've now added the link into my post!

The "There’s a lot of lean in the corners..." comment I found a bit off-putting as well, and that's without the bigger, heavier box and solar.

Not to worry, a paper GVW upgrade will stop it leaning in the corners, it'll be bouncing about on it's bump stops instead. 😂

Technical reason for that. It is to extend the life of the turbocharger. The electric fan keeps cooled water circulating around the turbo to prevent the oil that feeds the turbocharger bearings from overheating. That is also why the fan can run for a few minutes even after the ignition is turned off. It continues to circulate cooling water through the turbo. A "Torquecars" video on youtube explains all this.
I was on about when vans pull in and are still running getting level or stuff to park the fans cut in and out every few seconds and are louder than the actual engine 🤣 never heard of a water cooled turbo I know both my 27yr old van and 10yr old car has an electric water pump that runs on to cool the engine just after shut down and my car keeps the fans on if its doing a dpf regen. The ac on probably explains it (y)
