Spent last night in Dunbar Leisure Centre car park just up from harbour. Heading for CCC site for two nights grass only £33 for both nights.

A few years back Bill we did a stay on the Dunbar C&CC site and on one of the trips out we tried to park on the Leisure Centre car park during the day and got asked to move on which we did, obviously none of the shops in Dunbar got any of our money.

We have been going there since 2016 Graham, and never had an issue. Very surprised to hear this. We have even had showers in the leisure centre who have always welcomed motorhomes. There were three vans there on Monday night. There is no signage other than no HGV overnight parking. Most of the vans there are 6-6.6M. I can only think larger vans may not be welcome.

I was surprised as well Bill having heard it was alright, we`d no intension of overnighting as we were booked on the C&CC site, all we wanted to do was have a good look around the town before heading to our next place to visit

I didn`t argue back despite the rumours about me and we just moved straight onto the Rosslyn Chapel which the wife really wanted to see.

We would like to stay at more harbours, but they usually either have no camping signs or the only space is for the fishermen's vans while they are out to sea.
