Morocco insurance

I know this topic has been covered many times but I'm looking for an up to date answer - so sorry if I'm going over old ground.

I'd like to get an insurer who offers green card cover for Morocco. I'm currently with LV who do it but for some reason they've decided to drop converted panel vans from their list so I'm having to get a new insurer. I believe that Saga do it but it seems that they're no longer taking on new campervan customers! I've scoured the forums and can't find any clear indication of other insurers who offer it. I've been to Morocco a couple of times in the van before and know I can get cover at the ferry port but I'd rather have the peace of mind of a green card if I can find it. So...

Is there anyone out there who actually has an insurer that offers a green card for Morocco?

Hopefully there's someone. If not, it's insurance at the border.

I haven’t been for some years, but I’d phone comfort.

The insurance you can buy in Tangier wasn’t worth the paper it was written on.

Interestingly, despite much previous talk on the forum on this subject, there's been no one who's replied to my post telling me that they actually have green card cover! I can tell you that LV do offer this cover but sadly they no longer cover panel van conversions - which is why I'm now looking elsewhere. It's looking like I'll have to buy on arrival this year.

Apparently my safeguard policy covers morocco third party with a green card .
We have a motorhome though not a panel van.

Hi Richard we are in Morocco now, got my ferry ticket from Carlos etc and they advised to use CAT insurance who have a booth just after customs, paid £166 for 90 days 3rd party. They only take cash but there's a machine next to the office.
