Lossiemouth East Beach incident

Gas less is the way to go.
Hope only new pants needed for the occupants.
With lithium batteries and diesel boilers I completely agree Cale.
Rapidos c55 van only has one gas appliance on their non uk models a gas hob.
An induction hob could replace that. There U.K. versions have a gas oven, a microwave could replace this. With improvements and lowering prices of lithium gas free motorhomes and campers are not that far away.

A lot of the self builders don't bother with any or only a few drop out vents, I didn't mess about, if I had a leak I wanted the gas out pronto.

This is the elevated base for my fridge freezer, the pipes were to allow for water, gas, wiring and heated air to pass unheeded, you can see two of the dropout vents, covered with a mesh and the same sized pipe going down from them, eight inches long and slash cut to aid ventilation on the move, I did them all like that.

Looks like a conversion.

My first thought is did he have at least two gas drop vents?
The decals look like a professional job, and the kitchen unit looks like the Burstner cappucino furniture; the drop down [?] bed looks a little odd ...

We were parked up on a little spot in Dumfriesshire and to our astonishment another van pushed in along side us with barely enough room to open our doors. After a bit it was obvious they were staying so I said to the driver we'll leave you to it as we're not happy with less than 6ft of space. She said Why's that? Well here's your answer in photos. It may be rare but.... never say never.

I’ve 350 watt solar 280AH lithium, diesel heater with Bobil vans water heater microwave and an induction hob works well in summer

Disagree.

The decals look like the sort you buy to comply with DVLA requirments.
Never known a manufacturer who didn't include their name on a least one decal on each side.

Using pre-used MoHo /caravan cabinets in self builds is quite common.

You need decals on a campervan ?
I usually remove them . Crappy looking things

Our oven is redundant now we’ve joined the Air fryer revolution. Don’t see why it couldn’t replace the oven in a van.
We seem to be at a crossroads in motorhome technology when it comes to power.
With air fryers, diesel heaters, induction hobs, lithium batteries, and solar nothing is stopping us from removing gas all together from our motorhomes. The advantages massively outweigh the disadvantages. Less weight, storage space being freed up, safer, cheaper to run, no more having to seek out cylinders, or finding it more difficult to refill from fuel stations, and no more gas maintenance or inspections being required. But there is resistance against this, and with future advances in technology gas will surely have had its day. Why manufacturers have not grasped this eludes me, it’s high time they did.
