Dometic fridge freezer door broken hinges.

I was about to order new ones when, as I was taking the old ones off the lid, I noticed they would come apart easily, so I looked for hinge parts on Google and came up with these. I thought I'd risk them at £8.50 for two, less than half the price of single genuine ones

I have changed a few of these in the last 23 years, and they are not cheap at just under £30 each.
I araldited some metal strips in mine, then sprayed them white again to look new. I wish you had posted this before I went to all that bother 😔
 
I paid full whack for the first one she just pulled down too far, but this time she just trud to store to much stuff in it I think, and it literally just pushed the base of the door our as it tried to freeze the whole fridge.
 
It is very easy to pull the door down too far, at the price of the ones you have posted it is worth carrying two as spares

I may do, once I've seen and tested the quality, I've had 3D stuff before and a lot of it is really crap.


I did think once of fitting a cord so it would only drop to just above level, should be easy enough with a couple of self tapers and cord.
