You were referring to travel insurance then...No, it is a limit of the length of each trip.
So if the max trip is 31 days and it is 3 days to get abroad and 3 days to get home you have a max of 25 days abroad.

Canterbury p&r is ok as a stopover , if you go into Canterbury itself . Actually prefer Dover itself , at least it has a couple of decent pubs.Cheers. Sounds good. Its roughly half way between home and Dover and neither of us have ever been. I'm thinking two or three days there then maybe try Canterbury park and ride for a night which we should be able to get to in good time from Rutland Water for a rake around there as well. Normally we just slog to Dover in one hop (about 310 miles) and then do the same across France or Belgium the next day and its a bit wearying.
Oh dear. If Dover is better than Canterbury I might not bother!Canterbury p&r is ok as a stopover , if you go into Canterbury itself . Actually prefer Dover itself , at least it has a couple of decent pubs.
Did stay in Kent countryside couple of times which was nice .
Sorry Barry was not comparing the towns . Meant I would rather stay in Dover than the p&r .Oh dear. If Dover is better than Canterbury I might not bother!![]()

Dover is actually improving but a few centuries to go before it catches up with Canterbury.
The pub at the p&r is one of those modern , sterile places that pisses me off . A non pub (with crap food) .
Used to be a rundown shambolic pub near the cricket ground which I liked . Shut down now
Well , as I said , I find it sterile . Was not impressed by the food at all , extremely tough steak . Cheap meat .we quite like the place at Canterbury p&r ... The Old Gate Inn.
The food is decent, they allow dogs - what don't you like?
Only thing that put me off Lyndon top on the search for sites reviews is someone mentioned the stink from too many fire pits but they are banned on the Rutland Water (Sailing club) site as are tents. I appreciate ill be in a minority on here but I hate firesIts only a couple of nights anyway. Im pretty sure its one of @Robmacs favourites.
Cheers everyone. Pubs are not a big thing for us anyway unless we are out for lunch. I only really like to go to the pub with a group of my friends. If its just me and Michelle we may as well drink in the van.
I think we will definitely try Rutland Water. Seems like there is plenty to do and I might get out on the water sailing (been a while). I was initially just thinking an overnight but I might book in for three days or so.
Now we're talkingDon't forget you'll be in Pork Pie and Blue Stilton country Barry.![]()

Hmmmm. Might have to make it a week then.
I was just saying to Michelle yesterday I've not had a Pie / Pork Pie for yonks. Very limited here on Arran and Coop Stilton if available is a bit rank.
Gimme a shout if you do Barry and I'll pop over and say hello.
I won't intrude too much as I know you like your own company (somebody has to!).![]()
There's the pie shop in Queniborough you could take in on the way, not far from Rutland Water. We've passed it but dared not stop..... WAY too tempting![]()
Would argue pork pies with jelly etc are designed to be eaten cold . Certainly made to be eaten fresh , don't age well .The pies have to be hot though. A friend from the south who thought he was posh once told me pork pies were supposed to be served cold and it was unthinkable to eat a hot pork pie. He clearly hadn't eaten one from our local Taylors pie shop ooop north when it's been out of the oven twenty minutes or so. That is the ideal time. Any sooner than that and you end up with third degree burns from dripping pie jelly or worse, it drips on the tank on your bike.![]()
