Well I say two. Im not fussed myself personally.

We have two rather old now folding mountain bikes. They are passed their best and are a bit bulky to store. We carry a Honda Scooter so the folding bikes are just for messing about on. Anyone got a pair gathering dust they want to sell? If not what would be the recommendation? I think smaller wheels might help than the mountain bikes have for portability and they seldom get used off road anyway. I'm ooop North. Barnard Castle Richmond area.

Any bike without gears is like a camper with no roof, 5 min for hills etc.

It's racist to attack an ethnic minority Barry.

I have reported you to Gnomes Lives Matter.

I've recently given my folding mountain bike to son in law ,and purchased a 20 inch electric folder,. The 20 inch folder is a lot easier to manhandle and rides ok on sensible terrain.

Also got a folding tricycle for the other half, trike and my bike both fit in the lwb vivaro camper along with the camping fridge and porta potti for day trips. Would have to take an awning as a bike shed if we took them camping.

Wouldn't an ebike be better for your Knackered knobbly knees Barry? Then you could keep up with your imaginary wife.

Not really. They hardly get used to be honest and we wont be taking them to France. Well we might if I get two smaller ones. Mrs D is dead against an e bike. I've not tried cycling for yonks but as I've lost bit of weight I might be up for it.

Maybe try a ride around your village before going any further into it. also might be better to drop them off a cycle shop for a refurb.

I got one working yesterday and rode it around the village. They have those awful twisty grip gear changes and they have pretty much seized up. I went over it all with a brush and some ACF50 yesterday so will dig it out tomorrow and see if its any better but I think they have had their day. There is a bike place in Darlington that services them and we have used them before. I would just like something smaller and easier to handle though.

Prob shamano sh-t fittings, campacnola is the best, gearsets are over 2 grand.
