Teruel to Alicante route

Hi
Just wondering if someone has taken the inland route from Teruel to Alicante on the N330 etc?
I just thought that it might make a change if not too onerous.

Sounds interesting.
I was looking at a diagonal route to Beja, Portugal. That could present similar difficulties to the OP.

I “think” I have (not one to record where I go) and I’m sure this place is on the way, best nights sleep ever except something big was in the forest and started my dog off, it was a real out of the way spot if you like wilding.

Great road for slow progress! Winds along the stream bed and thru the woods, follows the old mining railway for some miles with lots of parking places

Nice free aire at Biar , includes free electric ,water etc. Nice town to visit too.

We came back that way last year, stopping at Teruel, which is a modern but lovely town with an aire near the centre.
The road in Spain was reasonably quiet and well maintained and made a change from our normal route Salamanca, Burgos, Irun route.
Once you go through the Somport Tunnel the road isn't as good, narrow and twisty but we weren't in a rush and took a route straight through France, which was interesting.

You can get a bus from just across the road from the aire

It is about 1.5 miles , 30 minutes walk

It's a decent stopover though, a nice flat, concrete surface and right next to a big supermarket and fuel station. And not far off the route.

Yea may still stop there . See how the knee is .
One review says there is a good bar there .
