Hi
We are wondering about Morocco this winter but a little concerned as we have not been before.
If anyone is in the same position and would like to pair up for the first few days, maybe you could get in touch?
Kind regards

There is a thread going on next door, ignore my post, as I was chastised for it

Hi. Thanks for that but we wouldn’t be there until mid Jan unfortunately.
Are you enjoying Morocco?
Where did you book the ferry and what was the cost?
Kind regards
Find motoroamers on the web. They have ebooks on Morocco which includes how and where to get the tickets. And travelling with dogs. It's very useful.
Our ferry for 2 adults, a dog and CAR was €250. Insurance was €200 for 3 months, purchased after customs in Tangier Med.

Lots of good info on their, do you know if the 'Insurance' actually covers you for anything or is it more of a Government tax. I guess they would never pay-out for anything.
How the weather doing enjoy your trip, the was very adventurous of you two to continue without the luxuries of the Motorhome

Hoping not to test the insurance! So can't answer that one. But at the price, I hope it isn't just a revenue raiser!
Weather mixed. And when it rains, it pours.
Campsite are somewhat rough. I coped with Turkish toilets for 3 nights on one site! But we have spent just over double campsites on accommodation, but had hot showers and been dry.
So yes, really missing the motorhome. But our choices were
1. Go back home to Crete and cry
2. Wait circa 2 months for the repair and go bankrupt with rented accommodation and food costs (too long to inflict ourselves on family, although they would have let us)
3. Buy a tent and travel as planned!
No brainer!
