On my Zig unit there is a 3 position rocker switch, push the top in it shows the state of the van battery on the adjacent voltage meter, push the bottom in shows the state of the leisure battery. To get he 12v electrics to work I have to have the bottom of the switch pushed in, if I leave it in the upper position or in the central neutral position no 12v stuff works, should it work like that? Also, if I'm on EHU where should the switch be for charging the Leisure battery. Thanks in advance.

Zig unit 3 way switch

As far as I am aware the switch is to select the battery to charge you select van or leisure battery in the centre position nothing charges this works both on hook up or when engine running

Zig switch

If on ehu the rocker switch should be in neutral .in this position the leisure battery will be getting charged. Pressing down the top only shows the condition of the cab battery, pressing the bottom only shows the condition of the leisure battery. When using 12v, press onto the bottom. Also, when driviing, this switch should be in neutral and both batteries will be getting charged. Dont be tempted to use the cab battery for leisure or you may find it running flat and unable to start the van.
Hope this helps.
