Or more likely, phone issue.
Our new Weinsberg came with Motorhome Wifi 4g installed (Huawei basically I think), which works well enough (on both Kindles and tablets and Firestick, and missus' phone) but I can't get my phone to connect.
It just comes up with a message about not being able to find ip address.
I've tried tapping it in (copying from a connected phone) but to no avail.
It DID connect when I first got the van, but then went awol a day or two later, and no luck since.
Frustrating. Any ideas? Cheers.
(It's a Samsung A12 if that's relevant)

I have a problem often with my kindle fire tablet keeps losing connection with the sim I have in the van. Turning off and rebooting the tablet solves it but I guess you have tried that. Going into the network settings on the phone and choosing the network to connect to might work. Hopefully some techy person will come along soon.

Have you tried contacting their support?

Not yet. Didn't realise there was one. Duh.
Will do so asap. Cheers. I have an idea it'll be fruitless (knowing the usual read-from-a-script type of 'support') but maybe they're different.

I know the owner of Motorhomewifi (Addie), he used to be an active member on the forums and was always pretty helpful. Could be worth a try.

Have you tried rebooting the Motorhome WiFi unit? The rebooting of routers is a well-established solution when rebooting of the individual device does not resolve the issue. I had occasion to do this recently.

They are totally different, I had a problem while in France and after a quick call I received an email with all the info needed as well as updated software with instructions to install, he never even asked for proof of purchase
