Now that camping carpark has opened a new aire nr by

Perhaps a combination of CCP and the loi littoral, espaces littoraux remarquables under the Code de l'Urbanisme. A lot of coastal locations are disappearing due to the loi littoral.

What a pity if it does close to overnighters. We have stayed there a couple of times but actually prefer the aire at St Pol de Leon the other side of Roscoff. Yes, you do have to pay but it couldn’t be closer to the sea and we go there because of the super restaurant just across the road!!

Agree but when catching a morning ferry I don,t ever park behind a barrier. Yesterday at St Pol several in front of us couldn,t get out took almost 3 hrs for them to get help an that was mid morning

I agree that it’s pretty nerve wracking being stuck behind a barrier, especially if you have a ferry to catch. Three times on our last trip there were vans who couldn’t get out of various aires but in every case it was simply because after entering their code or scanning their ticket they didn’t realise that they then had to press the validate/confirm/green tick button to escape. I seem to recall that somebody had a problem at St Pol de Leon for this very reason.
I must confess that it took me ages to get out of an aire at the start of our trip for this very reason!
