Lincolnshire live

We can identify the genuine offences quite easily. What they amount to is camping behaviour in a car park. Quite easy to remedy. Ensure the Off Street Parking Order identifies parking outside a marked bay is an offence. There is a PCN Code for this: PCN Code 86 - http://www.newparkinglaws.co.uk/post/PCN-Contravention-Codes

For longer vehicles then pay for two bays. No need for draconian banning measures. Other offences do not result in a blanket ban; they result in a Penalty Charge Notice. Do the crime, pay the fine.

The answer is so simple that there must be some other reason for the ban. It's unfortunate for Lincs CC that they have a rich record of corruption.

A councillor jailed for misconduct in public office - some trumped up charge that he tried to make millions for himself from a council decision https://www.theguardian.com/society/2004/apr/06/localgovernment.conservativeparty or the Chief Executives who find it difficult to keep their jobs there https://www.lincolnshireworld.com/n...rture-of-chief-executive-keith-ireland-175529 They've lost a total of three not too long ago. The first was interesting, the other two were a bit quiet about it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Bowles_(chief_executive)
One problem at Huttoft car Terrace is that there are no marked bays which is probably why greedy selfish mega Length vans try it on by parking lengthways to get a sea view, and in the winter the terrace is covered in sand so IF THERE WERE (not yet)marked bays they would be easily missed.

Just come back from Kent ( again) where Canterbury city council have a completely different attitude. Parked in HerneBay seafront carpark in designated bay for about eight vehicles. Barrier entry and pay before exit £2 overnight. No facilities but a vast number of motorhomes are self contained. The Canterbury park& ride had about twelve vehicles overnight @£8 night with some facilities. Money in their pockets, ability to park and visit their towns. It seems so simple, wish other councils would follow their lead.

Is Campra going to object?

No. Campra doesn’t do confrontation, petitions or demonstrations, those generally go nowhere and simply strengthen the resolve of councils to bring in yet more onerous measures. Legal challenges take ages and cost a lot. True there have been a few successful challenges over the years, but they are few and far between. More progress is being achieved by cooperation and being positive. Already Lincolnshire is cooperating with Campra identifying other more suitable carparks in the area where visitor, traffic and environmental pressures are less onerous.

Appreciate there will be number on here with big vans but they can be a problem .
Aire in France the other night 4 vans took up about 20 parking spaces

Having been to Lincolnshire a few times and always found it flat and not over interesting, I don't think we are missing much if we decide to go elsewhere and anyway, from the sound of it, it's full of motorhomes leaving rubbish everywhere.
😉😀😁
Oh no, I spent my recent trip in Lincolnshire and north Yorkshire and loved it. Those huge flat expanses, the sky meeting the sea, lots of bird places, parked in tiny layby right next to the wash. Absolutely wonderful. No other motor homes, no old ladies- only me.
