At the risk of vitriolic replies, never been, won’t now be going, have I missed anything? 🤣

That might depend on you views on being forcefully excluded from a area, it's all very well people saying "won't go where we're not wanted", but at the going rate that might be nowhere. :(

Well they have to publish the TRO with a consultation period, are we all going to object ……..,..,,🤔

You have missed a number of good places to overnight, Huttoft Terrace being the poorest one. The other places were spacious and less crowded. It was a witch hunt against motorhomes ... literally.

The Witch of Moggs Eye started it all. That was the name given to an old woman who hated motorhomes and campaigned relentlessly to get them stopped from using the places. She actually resembled the popular conception of a Witch, all she needed was a broomstick and I expect she had a black cat at home.

Having been to Lincolnshire a few times and always found it flat and not over interesting, I don't think we are missing much if we decide to go elsewhere and anyway, from the sound of it, it's full of motorhomes leaving rubbish everywhere.
😉😀😁

With these opinions of us?

and

I'm surprised anyone wants to come here anyway?

Motorhomers been here then? So neatly done.

Not any more I don’t think. If they just don’t want you there they can use the new bill to get police to move you or take the consequences. Unless of course you are one who believes the new bill won’t affect motorhomes 👍

Not being allowed to park in the day is blatant discrimination and maybe illegal. I hope it gets challenged.
For me...Bye Bye Lincolnshire.
As we often alternate between wilding and small campsites such sites will lose out.
So wrong etc etc
By alternating we also totally solve the alleged grey water and rubbish problem and cassette emptying !
As has been observed before the rubbish issue is more a result of car visitors without their own space to keep rubbish on board.
Again casually purchased tea/coffee/snacks may well generate said rubbish. But preaching to the converted.
I could suggest that in-breeding is rife amongst Lincolnshire councillors ???
the thing that will affect. it. sorry shops we no buy. oh rubbish try dear colin davie sorry but dis-posed of it. ok pj .

Going back to Annie's original post this was quoted "We needed to take strong action as the height barriers we have in place currently and byelaws aren’t really doing the job."

Well no £$%^ Sherlock, they can make a comment like that but cannot see that it is vehicles that can fit under these height barrier at night, panel vans with no facilities and the boy racers tossing the Macdonald's wrappers out of the windows that are crapping in the bushes and leaving rubbish strewn all over the place.

So the answer is charge everybody for day time parking and ban anything that is over 6m long and likely to have it's own facilities. It makes you wonder what planet these people are on.

As I live in Lincolnshire and regularly walk along by Huttoft car terrace it’s the few spoiling it for the many.Twin wheeled Motorhomes and various other campers parking lengthways taking up multiple spaces.Greedy and selfish. And tables chairs awnings up etc typical camping behaviour.I don’t believe the dumping of toilet waste claims though.I don’t think the council though can see further than their noses. Why didn’t they capitalise on this by introducing overnight charges (reasonable of course)and let Motorhome stop. The car parks are empty at night normally when charges are in place so could have made a tidy income from this. They could enforce contravening of parking rules by making sure people are in one paid space and not multiple bays and rightly so! Not exactly rocket science is it. Councillor Colin Davie must own a caravan site local I’m sure.
I wonder who owns Campsite at Marsh Farm, Orby.?

From a quick search it seems the farm has been owned by the Bloomfield family for many years.

I found a reference for the area for a Councillor Marcus Bloomfield but can't find much more than that?

...that is not to say that he is anything to do with it!

I would guess there aren't any counties in the whole country that have something of interest, we where in the Lincolnshire Wolds, a AONB and not flat, gf likes the fens with it's wide open skies.
