The problem is that around half of passengers are not complying with the rules about wearing face masks.
They are simply sitting down then removing their face mask.
At the end of July here on Bute we had 2 cases in total.
Now we are trying to cope with numbers that have varies between 120 and 150.
Try getting your head round a rate of 3605 per 100k as Rothesay had yesterday !!
Every case had to come over on a ferry !!!
Is it any wonder that a crew member gets infected then their close contacts have to isolate.
Before you know it ferries are out of service while they drum up a replacement crew from somewhere else !
