Aldi 100 psi tyre inflator

PSI is not what you should be looking at, but CFM which is more important.
No pump worth its salt will work of the ciggy socket, it would require direct to battery and cables like jump lead thickness, most pumps on the market are toys and only fit for raising a tyre maybe 10/15 psi before getting way too hot, use them in short bursts if you must as I have seen wires burnt using them.
Maybe 'toys' is a bit harsh Trev, the Aldi £20 one is going to be fit for purpose in loads of cases. My wifes little 1.3 Mazda, she does her tyres monthly, twenty quid and a few years of 'topping up', ideal.

Yes I agree for a car with lower volume tyres and less pressure I have a Goodyear inflator that cost me £25 from halfords 10-12 years ago, and it’s still going strong. But for mohos you need something a lot better, and sadly a lot more expensive, as I found out the hard way. I hope I am wrong here snd the Aldi inflators are up to the mark, but I have my doubts based on previous experience. I think Trev was referring to mohos with his comment.

I had one of the previous Aldi tyre inflators and when I needed it it didn’t cut the mustard. My next purchase will be the Ring or the one that mistericeman recommended.

For car tyres I use double barrel foot pump ,no problem at all , for some reason it won't do my 80 psi van

Had a look at aldi pump ,it is tiny only 12 months warrenty looks great for car tyres .not 80 psl MH instructions state 100 psi ,??? So put lt back

My two cheapie tyre inflaters though alledgedly rated much higher could only manage about 50psi at very best, were noisy, got hot and took forever to get there. Not the 65psi I needed in my rear tyres, so after researching I bought a Ring RAC900 and it is in a completely different league, reliable, very quiet and inflates fast even at high pressures. You get what you pay for!
I have same one and works great .buy cheap get crap. quality costs
