Thermal eco pot

Unnecessary clutter IMO..
Easy enough to cook up a quick meal with sensible "emergency foods" or simply others eg eggs sausages bacon baked beans..even SPAM or better
However we have clutter in a cadac BBQ
Which we like and use. A simple wok means 1 pan quick cooking plus either rice or potato !

I like using a Slow Cooker. Prep everything in the morning, clear up and then come eating time it is just a matter of dishing it up and enjoying it. If you go to the extreme and use a cooker liner in the slow cooker and paper plates and disposable forks, then there is zero clear-up afterwards :)
Great when I went to the Shows and had a stand ... prep in the morning before opening up and meal ready to be dished up when you really couldn't be arsed to cook after a long day and didn't want yet another burger and chips.

I've never been one for shoes and handbags either. But I have enough camping stoves etc to supply Go Outdoors!
Not any more rumour has it that Go Outdoors, blacks and the other one they own whose name escapes me at the moment are on the brink of receivership but it’s a Facebook rumour so watch this space. 😢

Doesn't surprise me with Go Outdoors Annie. I had a dispute with them when I ordered an item from their website only to be told by email that it was no longer available. It took me weeks to get my money back and their customer service was absolutely appalling.

Shame about Blacks was the other one Millets?

No it’s JD sports all owned by Go Outdoors I found them ok I bought two camping chairs 3 years ago and so far have had them replaced each season free as the seams have failed on them exceptbthis year thought I’d better not push my luck as 6 chairs for the price of 2 stop while your winning I say 😂😂

Small inverter and a small slow cooker....

Load slow cooker up (tinned veg works ace as it's already part cooked)
Stick some crusty rolls in tinfoil on top and
Cover slow cooker with coat/blanket....

Plug in and turn cooker on before you set off for destination
And you've a hot hearty meal waiting for you when you park up.

I should add that they were doing it to hundreds of customers - advertising goods as available and then hanging on to their money. It was impossible to contact them by 'phone and they wouldn't reply to any emails. They lost a lot of customers including me whilst they did this.

I think it's the other way round Annie... JD Sports owns Go Outdoors, Blacks and Millets amongst others.

I think you're right Jennie.

Just checked Go Outdoors on Trustpilot and they're still up to the same tricks - they have brought this upon themselves.

A lot of people will lose jobs through this unless the predicted staycations give them more trade to recover. But by all accounts they have a terrible record as an employer too.

I just use go outdoors for browsing. Like to see something in flesh before getting it online.
Plus I like to try support local where I can.

Problem with go outdoors is all there goods is double the price of stuff on line or other shops,i bought the same chairs as theres for £5 each where they said they had reduced them from £50 to £35 yea right on,trailer rim and tyre 8 inch £35 which can be bought here at markets for £15,people are not that daft, well most are not.
