Snipe 2 removal/repositioning

Del you don’t have to mount the snipe to roof you can use it sitting on a level piece of ground with a length of cable As long as it has a clear path south. Might be handy when your hunkered down for the winter.
Cheers Wully, I hope you're doing well.
There's not much room for anymore solar so I think I'm going to refit just incase, the Firestick is great until you have no internet and as you say we watch more stuff in the winter.

Regards,
Del

All good here dell hope things are good your end. I had the snipe on my last two vans and really liked it the dealer I got this van from fitted a small maxiveiw dome satellite as part of the deal and it’s been great even worked in France last year as did the snipe. I got rid of Virgin at the house a couple of months ago so bought a cheap tv aerial and mounted it to house chimney I was amazed at the number of channels that are free that you think come with a tv package from sky or virgin. You can buy a new plate for your snipe if you need. Look forward to seeing you both at a meet hopefully soon👍

We're self isolating on my son's drive and taking the opportunity to get some jobs done and experimant with the solar and lithium batteries, you'll be amazed at how long you can last by being careful with your power usage, especially at night. Looking forward to seeing you at a meet in the near future (hopefully).

Most motor suppliers sell the brass cheese wire for windscreen removal a couple of quid for yards of the stuff. When we have to remove siko we generally warm it first with heatgun but this depends obviously on what your removing.
