Snipe II Satalite Dish Stuck Up

I don't use it very often but everytime I do I wonder if it will come back down again. As I had not used it for a couple of months and with nothing better to do I set it to point at Astra 2 this afternoon. So round it went and stopped. Home light was on so it thought it was in the home position so refused to move. Anyway the trick to getting it working again is the little switch under the white rubber cover is stuck down. Tapping it gently it eventually popped up and the dish then realised that it was not in the home position after all. Pressed the home button on the controller and it put itself away for another few months.

I remember someone else talking about the same problem, would a drop of WD40 get things moving ?

There is a rubber type cover over the switch to stop water getting in. Will have to get it down and have a look.
