Wingamm is the world pioneer of fiberglass monocoque motorhome construction, building compact luxury motorhomes in Verona, Italy since 1977. Every Wingamm is built around a single-piece fiberglass shell with no joints or seams — a construction method that takes 10 times longer than conventional coachbuilding but delivers unmatched structural integrity.
The range includes:
The Oasi 540 — 5.4m compact A-class that drives like a car. The most manoeuvrable A-class motorhome available, fitting in standard parking spaces.
The Oasi 610 — 6.1m, 4-berth models with multiple layout variants including the 610M, 610ST and 610GL with different bathroom configurations.
The Oasi 690 — 6.9m, the largest Oasi with twin beds and garage configurations.
The Brownie — 5.89m, 4-berth compact design.
The City Pro — 5.99m semi-integral with monocoque construction.
All models feature the iconic Wingamm drop-down bed system, first introduced in 1982.
Wingamm was founded in 1977 by the Turri brothers in Settimo di Pescantina, near Verona, Italy. With extensive experience in the furniture sector, the brothers transitioned into recreational vehicle manufacturing, initially retrofitting customer-supplied vans with custom fiberglass roofs.
The defining moment came in 1982 when Wingamm created the world's first camper with a fiberglass monocoque living cell — debuting the Oasi 550 and 600 models at the Turin Motor Show. This revolutionary construction technique became Wingamm's signature and remains their defining technology.
The brand name draws inspiration from the peregrine falcon — representing compact, robust, agile vehicles capable of reaching any destination. Wingamm remains Italy's only independent, family-owned motorhome manufacturer, with over 45 years of continuous production from their Verona factory.
In 2025, Wingamm entered the US market with the Oasi 540.1, marking their first expansion outside Europe.
Fiberglass monocoque construction — Wingamm invented the monocoque motorhome body in 1982. A single-piece fiberglass shell with no joints eliminates leaks, reduces noise and provides exceptional structural strength.
Compact luxury — Wingamm proves that small motorhomes can offer genuine luxury, with the Oasi 540 fitting in a standard parking space while providing full motorhome facilities.
Exceptional insulation — sandwich construction of fiberglass + 25mm polyurethane foam + fiberglass delivers superior thermal and acoustic performance.
Car-like driving — aerodynamic monocoque design and compact dimensions create a driving experience closer to a car than a traditional motorhome.
Italy's last independent manufacturer — family-owned since 1977, Wingamm is Italy's only remaining independent motorhome manufacturer.
If you want leak-proof construction — the joint-free monocoque eliminates the seams and joints where traditional motorhomes develop leaks.
If you want a compact motorhome that drives like a car — the Oasi 540 at 5.4m offers the most car-like motorhome driving experience available.
If noise matters — the double fiberglass shell creates an exceptionally quiet interior with no squeaks or rattles.
If long-term value matters — monocoque construction resists deformation, corrosion and wear, maintaining condition far longer than conventional builds.
Premium pricing — monocoque construction takes 10 times longer to manufacture, reflected in significantly higher prices than conventional motorhomes.
Very limited UK presence — Wingamm has minimal UK dealer representation.
Specialised repair requirements — monocoque fiberglass bodies require specialist technicians for any bodywork repairs.
Small waste tank — some models have modest holding tank capacity requiring more frequent emptying.
Predominantly LHD — most production is left-hand drive for Italian and European markets.
Inspect the monocoque body — check the fiberglass shell for impact damage, star crazing, delamination or repairs. The monocoque is the vehicle's defining feature.
Check the base vehicle — on Fiat Ducato: cam belt, clutch, gearbox as standard.
Test the drop-down bed mechanism — Wingamm's signature feature since 1982. Verify smooth operation and locking.
Inspect interior furniture quality — all carpentry is done in-house at the Verona factory. Check for any signs of non-original repair.
Conduct damp check — while monocoque construction should prevent water ingress, verify condition of any joints around windows and doors.
Wingamm provides manufacturer warranty on new motorhomes with the personal service typical of a family-owned Italian manufacturer.
For used purchases, verify warranty status directly with Wingamm. The company's reputation for customer care extends to second and subsequent owners.
OakTree Motorhomes can advise on independent warranty options for premium compact motorhomes.
When buying a used Wingamm, look for a dealer that offers an independent warranty backed by a provider like the RAC. This means your warranty remains valid even if the dealer ceases trading. OakTree Motorhomes offer up to three years of RAC-backed warranty, covering the average ownership period.
