About Globe-Traveller

Globe-Traveller is an award-winning Polish campervan manufacturer producing premium handcrafted conversions with innovative engineering. Founded by a rally champion, the brand combines motorsport precision with campervan functionality.

The range includes:

The Voyager series — on Fiat Ducato, available in XS (5.99m) and X (6.36m) sizes, seating 3-4 with pull-down folding bed system. The Voyager Z won Best Fixed Bed Campervan 2023.

The Pathfinder series — on Fiat Ducato, similar to Voyager with added options including a Bike version with slide-out bicycle storage rack.

The Falcon series — on VW Crafter with super-high roof providing 2m interior height. Available in standard and 4x4 versions.

The Explorer series — functional, minimalist design focusing on essential features to maximise interior space.

All models feature double-floor construction for superior insulation and integrated tank protection.

Ownership history

Globe-Traveller began as the Neo-Traveller project in 2009 in Krakow, Poland, before being officially established as Globe-Traveller in 2012. The brand was created by Sobiesław Zasada — Poland's most successful rally driver and three-time European Rally Champion — together with architect Jacek Jaskot.

Globe-Traveller operates under the Elcamp Group, part of the Zasada Group (Grupa Zasada) — one of Poland's oldest and largest capital groups. Elcamp was established in 1996 as the first Polish company to produce and service recreational vehicles.

All vehicles are handcrafted at the company's workshop in Karczew, near Warsaw. The brand has expanded rapidly across Europe and won Campervan of the Year 2023 at the UK Motorhome and Caravan Show.

What Globe-Traveller is known for

Award-winning design — Campervan of the Year 2023 and Best Fixed Bed Campervan at the UK Motorhome and Caravan Show demonstrates international recognition.

Double-floor construction — integrated double floor houses water tanks inboard, improving insulation, lowering the centre of gravity and enabling genuine four-season use.

Rally-bred engineering — founded by three-time European Rally Champion Sobiesław Zasada, bringing motorsport attention to detail to campervan construction.

Premium standard specification — electric steps, lithium batteries and passenger airbags come as standard equipment, often optional on competitors.

Why people choose Globe-Traveller

If you want an award-winning campervan — Globe-Traveller's UK awards demonstrate genuine quality recognised by independent experts.

If four-season use matters — double-floor construction and excellent insulation make Globe-Traveller genuinely winter-capable.

If you want lithium batteries as standard — premium specification without the premium options list.

If you want a VW Crafter 4x4 — the Falcon 4x4 offers genuine off-road capability in a premium campervan.

What to watch out for

Relatively new brand — established 2012, limited long-term reliability data compared to established manufacturers.

Limited UK dealer network — growing but still limited UK representation.

Compact living space — the XS models require careful packing for extended trips.

Roof bed access — the ladder for accessing the pull-down roof bed can be cumbersome.

Limited headroom in some bed configurations — cannot sit up in single beds on certain models.

What to check when buying a used Globe-Traveller

Check the base vehicle — on Fiat Ducato: cam belt, clutch, gearbox. On VW Crafter: full service history, AdBlue system.

Inspect the double-floor construction — check underfloor for impact damage and verify water tank heating system functions.

Test the pull-down bed mechanism — verify smooth operation and locking.

Check lithium battery system — test battery management system and charging from all sources.

Conduct damp check — check all seals, windows and roof area.
