Yorkshire 600

The best bits are not necessarily around the edges though. There is certainly a lot of that map I wouldnt bother with. Do they think this is the new NC500? 😬

Not good Alf, strange that the donkey should do that, low oil or not changed, pump shaft broke or driving slow which clogs the oilways, hope you get sorted soon and dont worry about cost as you dont get to take it with you.

Not too well our van engine sized the last week in November last year been in Engine repair garage ever since huge bill and it keeps going up we may have to sell to pay it off that and it’s our only vehicle …Alf
Hi Alf, I replied to your message. Caledonia, can you perhaps advise Alf if he furnishes you with further information of his VW T5 dilemma, as you are the man in my book for all things VW.

Cheers.

Terry Gorden is already aware of the Van problems…Alf

By the way, where is Yorkshire?
Which reminds me of a 'discussion' that was going on in the office. Three lads, one from Birmingham, one from Coventry, and one from Yorkshire where arguing over who was a 'Northerner', when one of the 'Jims' called across, "you're all southern sassenachs", this was in Kirkcaldy.
So for me it's 'oop north', for you it's somewhere down south were the sassenachs live. :p

They obviously don't know Yorkshire very well if they think that the Tees enters the sea at Saltburn.

This might be useful

Its a great idea but Im going to nitpick again as I have nothing better to do. 😬

All those places at the top of the map are in County Durham. Some of them about about 25 miles into Durham and Teesdale. Its confusing though as where I live is south of the Tees and historically would be part of the North Riding of Yorkshire. The actual official county line however is now well south of the Tees in many places so Durham and Teesdale has slowly crept into and taken over parts of North Yorkshire over the years. Despite me having a Richmond North Yorkshire address the Yorkshire border is at the bottom end (south) of our village so we and all those places north of us are officially in Durham County in Teesdale. Its caused a lot of controversy over the years with signs being moved or mischievously "Altered".

Having said that Teesdale is absolutely stunning so dont miss it out if you do the trip. :)
