spent the last 3 days at york show.
as usual it was a skidpan going in on friday, hate to think what it was like on saturday
. some lucky drivers got thru it but most had to be towed thru the mud by 2 tractors on a rota system. all because they ran out of temporary roadway before the main camping area !!!!!!!!!!
started to dry out on sat so wellies and waterproofs not needed.
as ever there was a fantastic selection of vans and kit on show. its surprising how fast the wallet empties at these places.
sunday night turned into a monsoon so never left the van except to take down the vibrating tv aerial at 3.30am but we should have left sunday t/time instead of mon morning. 1 hour to get 500mtrs across the field to the exit, no organisation and marshalls conspicuois by there absence!!!!
