That reminds me.... I used to support Chelsea in the days when I watched football. But I suppose Peter Osgood and Peter Bonetti don't play for them any more?? :)
 
The hidden expense for the games is ridiculous.

We've got the flame going through North Wales soon with a rolling road block involving god knows how many people and police.

Sport should be for the competitors and a bloody great show should not be part of it, that includes football etc

What was it Chelsea won???
 
I'm sure that if I wanted to carry a blazing torch around the country those Health & Safety people would have something to say about it. I hope they don't take it along Pudding Lane in London!! :danger:

Now we've got these games they've been banging on about for over a year plus £2.3bn on the over privaliged royals. All this at a time when we are nearly bankrupt. I despair.

Well done Chelsea! I don't really follow football hugely, but another (nominally!) British success in Europe and it makes a change from Man U or Liverpool.
