Not wishing to be rude or name anyone in particular, but some of the threads are becoming very hard to read/comprehend!

I know that when I post on here I'm not in a hurry, as I do not have to pay for every minute spent online, but I read what I have written and make certain that, as far as I can, there are no spelling mistakes and that my grammar/comprehension is reasonably correct/understandable to other members of the site!

I am not the Admin of this site (nor would want to be!:D), just a keen participant who wants to be able to read and enjoy the threads that are posted!
Cheers fellow Wilders!;)

Look at all the spelling/grammar mistakes in my thread! D'oh!

Quite agree. I'm very happy to skip past the odd typo, and if its a subject I want to engage with I will overlook any number of strange versions of English, but the one thing that really frustrates me is when people are posting about locations for wild camping and spell the ***** place name wrong. You have to be a detective to find it on streetmap.
I don't feel its my place to correct them, but the point of posting the information is to share it and if others can't find it you might as well not bother.

Rant over. Enjoy your Sinday.

I've only just noticed there's an 'ABC' spell check button (top right) on this reply form!!! How long's that been there??

I for one get VERY used to 'Bill Gates' checking everything I write in Word & emails! But point taken and rollockin' received - like my school report "Must try harder"!

Thnaks very munch!

Where's the spell cheek? I cannot see it.

Virgil -try looking for the little abc and tick icon top right next to a couple of other icons.
I agre with you that threads are becoming difficult to comprehend as folk are going off topic too easily. It would be a lot easier if folk stuck to the subject in hand and then posted a new thread to develop other ideas.

Parshally Sited?

Nope, cannot see it! Perhaps it is on your toolbar and dependant on your ISP?

Admin... Am I blind?

spelling

Hi all, the punktuhation:D in a thread and the odd spelling cock up in normal text is,nt a problem, but I must agree when a town is mentioned the spelling must be coorrect:eek: Also while I,m on my soap box when our fellow members are listing WILD stops the information needs to be bob on ie-place and the correct road name or number :) If you are from the rest of the world
then we all can forgive you on your spelling as we now the English language can be confusing IE to too and two also there, their ect. Off soap box.

At home at the moment it,s bloomin FREEZING outside not looking forward to forcasted snow. If you are a FULL TIMER in England then respect to you:)

This is Free and Free is good - just sits up on the IE toolbar and once you make sure that you have told it UK-English it works very well. It also has the facility to "learn" words

Has the spell check been upgraded within the last 2 weeks as I did have trouble getting it to work before, but now it works perfect?:D

No, its just that your spelling has improved!;)

I cannot still find it on the toolbar! I'm just lucky I can spell though.
