a good van

these are good vans, i had one for three years, small enough for every day use but with all the facilities you need for camping, i would say only for two people though and may be a dog.

Petrol Boxer

I've got a Symphony which is about 4 inches longer than the Harmony. Mine has the petrol engine. Personally I wouldn't go for the petrol as mine runs out of steam when you come to hills, it can only reach 70mph on a motorway with the wind behind it and going downhill, fuel consumption only 23mpg and I've had the head rebuilt. Interior-wise, it's great for 2 people and just about fits in carpark spaces so you could use it as an only vehicle but I would say go for the 1.9 turbo-diesel. Mine is a 1997 and no signs of rust so I don't think that is a major problem, though I have heard the front cross-member can rot but thats not a problem to replace and not that expensive either.
