Would you...
Cut a hole in a deer fence if the wire spoiled the view of the sunset through your van window?
Strange question huh!
I ask as the Motorhomes frequently stop day and night at this spot and the hole appeared despite there being an unlocked gate just 10yards away!
Locals are struggling to understand the long hole at a slightly higher than normal height. I have not suggested my theory to the landowner but I figured sharing it here for awareness of *potential* antics of some.
Hopefully being on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs Camping Management Zone will not encourage similar happenings in what is a pretty area that is free from prohibition currently.
Location: 'Top of the World', 'The Firs' above Kippen, Arnprior + Fintry; view towards Trossachs including Ben Lomond round to Ben Ledi.
I am a local and have known the view all my life and when the deer fence went up (prior to planting native trees and bushes to add to the habitat of Red Squirrels) I knew it would be controversial but it is the right of the landowner and all relevant steps have been taken to stay legal.
