Cut a hole in a deer fence if the wire spoiled the view of the sunset through your van window?

Strange question huh!
I ask as the Motorhomes frequently stop day and night at this spot and the hole appeared despite there being an unlocked gate just 10yards away!
Locals are struggling to understand the long hole at a slightly higher than normal height. I have not suggested my theory to the landowner but I figured sharing it here for awareness of *potential* antics of some.
Hopefully being on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs Camping Management Zone will not encourage similar happenings in what is a pretty area that is free from prohibition currently.

Location: 'Top of the World', 'The Firs' above Kippen, Arnprior + Fintry; view towards Trossachs including Ben Lomond round to Ben Ledi.
I am a local and have known the view all my life and when the deer fence went up (prior to planting native trees and bushes to add to the habitat of Red Squirrels) I knew it would be controversial but it is the right of the landowner and all relevant steps have been taken to stay legal.

I sincerely hope not. :mad2:

Hopefully the height of this is due to some completely different reason.

Lovely area, I lived & went to school in Fintry.

Looks like some selfish pratt has tried to cut themselves a midge net out of the fence, they probably believed the stories of the monstrous midges of Scotland!

Ignorant Pigs!

Looks like someone needed a bit that size. If it was cut to gain access or view why would you cut it off completely. Lovely wee place Fintry.

I agree with wussy, some fat 4rse couldn't climb the fence so they cut the bugger.

Hi ya,
I really cannot see any reason for someone to do this Mindless Damage,, Was the Wire still there, Disgarded on the floor Or Missing/Taken by the scrote !.
Odd & Mindless !.

There really are some stupid people out there, I have a very large field for grazing the horses, and it is a nightmare as I am always having to repair where it gets cut, over the years I have been planting hawthorn edging but it is just slow going but I am getting there,
But it is no fun getting reports that your horses are running around the village because some t..t has cut the fence

Surely there's no evidence it was even done by a motor homer. Just a case of blaming the motor home community I'd sooner suspect it was done by a local who opposes the fence or who's hoping to get a ban placed on motorhomes.
