Hi just informing members of the above. Which runs 17th Oct to 2nd Nov.Their 1/3 glasses are a great way of tasting different beers for a price of a pint.
Also hard to beat their fish and chips including a drink deal.
Enjoy!
Cheers David
Why is that Wetherspoons can sell great beer cheap, pretty good food cheap, have great looking pubs with loads of ££££££'s spent on them [Harrogate is a particular favourite of mine], quick service [mostly] and then you get 1,300 other pubs closing a year.
Why is it that Tim Martin can make a great success with it but others fail miserably?
one reason is that they dictate the price they pay for their beer to the supplier, just as the supermarkets make their profits out of their suppliers. You will find that many small brewers just will not supply Wetherspoons as they lose too much money doing so.
We use Whetherspooons all over the Country good value and food to a good standard,we have had just about everthing on their menus now, great buildings too, their priices do vary from area to area though one of the more expensive places being Henly on Thames, pay for the area I suppose. We did have a probllem in Belfast recently,8 of us had roast Beef, we sent it back a sit was so tough, had a different meal though no problem, Irish Beef they said,Yuk.
