Winter trips

Anybody gearing up for a winter trip ? when i way it up ,because of work/shifts/schools the van has,nt been for a decent trip since end Sept 2004.I cannot go abroad because of work committments, but i,m thinking of going to the Lakes next week which will be Wed /Thurs 25/01/26/01
.My main interest is winter mountaineering .
Anybody want to give it a go ?

i would love to mate but unfortunately too much going on at the moment. my van has not moved for a while either and the other half says its too cold to go out. i love to be out in the snow. ah well i can dream about it and maybe next year. have a great trip
