No doubt been discussed before? I have looked.

Anyway good or bad idea?? We had one for our caravan, kept him warm, dry and clean. It's been suggested as christmas present? We do plan to use Hymie over christmas, but to be honest not sure how much use we'll get Jan and Feb?
Plus where we live loads of trees.....

So good or bad??

Cheers

Hi Paula
I bet you will get as many Yay as Nay on this one :) Irs been debated before.

My personal thought is Nay, as with cars keeping a cover on them IMO traps in any damp which is never a good thing with the 'van' part of the MH and probably not a good thing with the habitation part either. Also (if I was not using mine as an office) I would like to be able to get in at least once a week to ensure all is well. A bit like the house on sunny days even in winter we also open up the windows to get some air about. :)

Others also think that if the cover is moving about in the wind they can scratch the body and windows

Just my thoughts :)

We have a 3 layer breathable job with a window for the solar panel and an access door. No probs with damp or abrasion and stops the black streaks. Always seems to get windy when I want to put it on though...
