Just for Info I had a couple of stone chips in my windscreen I had to pay part of my excess to get a Free repair from my insurance. So first thought Ebay after seeing this Video How to Repair a Windshield Chip or Crack - YouTube
I purchased this kit WINDSCREEN CHIP REPAIR KIT Windshield scratch fix kit Auto Glass Wind Screen DIY | eBay and managed a very successful repair now unable to see any damage I did use a second application of the last part in instructions to complete the fill.

I now have a kit to carry with me 3 yrs ago when in Germany I had a stone chip in windscreen and decided to wait until returning home to get it repaired before I got home the chip had cracked across windscreen making a need for a replacement
