We stayed in a big secluded layby on Spurn road and walked to the point and back..google earth and street view it. There are other carparks further down but I don't know what the overnighting situation is now. You can always check them out when you get there and if a no go head back to the layby

Did you want to stop on the point ?
There is a large car park just before the RNLI houses ,car park on the right and i cant see a problem parking over night there as many anglers park there over night ,
but if you want to park over night just before spurn road ( where you have to pay to get on ) then there is a set back layby on the right where you can park with no problem ,it is just after a sharp right hand turn at kilnsea
But all depends how big you are there are lots of parking spots along the one milespurn road that you can park but its a one track road and only passing plasces so beware . ENJOY keith

thanks for info will have a look again on google earth seen plenty places but not sure if i was allowed to park overnight on them i forgot to mention i have dogs and dont think they are allowed right up at the point so the layby it might be

Hi lala, you might not be allowed down to the point if your vehicle is too big, the road is narrow, in places very sandy and twice this year washed away , its also privately owned by RSPB so you have to pay, camping and dogs are not allowed, the layby on the right is a parking area to one of there hides prior to the gate entrance. You could also try the carpark at the end of Humber Side Lane out of Easington down to the Humber past the Riding School, plenty of flies this time of year but luckily none biting type - if your into fishing not bad for bass and flounder

Dogs aren't allowed on spurn, want a cheap day visit on a Friday...no charge and no idea why..
Towards the point is the old lighthouse on the right....fantastic lug worm beds low tide..
When high tide arrives, you have the beach side and if its rough leads won't hold the riverside has a back up..
The binks is not the best place to fish on the point.......I know spurn reasonably well....my ex would suggest intimately.....any questions ask....a few on here very familiar with this area

I stayed here last night and had a natter with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust warden this morning......they own or run the place. He prefers if people want to overnight that they do it in the little secluded layby opposite the bus stop 400 yards down the headland road from the Visitor Centre.....that's the one at the top of the road not where the gates are. The car park with the public loos(which were open very early this morning) by the Visitor Centre has a very small sign politely asking you not to park overnight. The headland road further down (at the other visitor centre) is gated but not closed at night. There are plenty of places to park down there so I suppose you takes yer chances! They charge £3 for cars to enter the headland road during the day but no charge for daytime parking. There are a lot of police patrols in this area for some reason and I'm now on waving terms with two of them:wave:.....maybe it's the gas terminal up the road in Easington?

crikey i hope he does catch some cod i love it lol, i will be on lookout for the layby 2 fingers crossed we will be ok, if not be on a site which i dont mind anyway as long as it wont be £20 a night thanks peeps for all the info
