have anyone stayed overnight at kerrera ferry near oban ?
there is a sign there that says that the car park is for ferry users only.

Hi, I have parked here on two occasions in the past.
I took it as read that the loch side parking, where the sign is, refers to that bit only.

I parked on the other side near the shed. I arrive late, slept & had blinds up by 7.30 - no problems.

You could stay here, at side of Loch Etive, Taynuilt. Its about 10 miles away from Oban and has magnificent 360° views, peace & quiet.

Was going to suggest it myself - excellent spot. And you can fish off the pier!
When are you coming over, Tony, and will you make it to Brin?

as you put it like that how can we refuse . we will certainly see how things go.
