Wilding In Holland

I'm Sure this will of been ask many times on here, but could someone confirm to me what are the rules on Wilding in Holland.

I going on a Hobby trip in July close to Amsterdam, have got a camp site for the duration, but this may not be convenient for some of the trip. (To complicated to explain )

Most of my friends will be in Hotels and just wondered if staying close to one on the road or maybe at the back of the carpark would be legal....

May just end up getting a taxi to and fo.

Any info would be much appreciated.

From speaking to Dutch and Belgian friends, it is normally not permitted to sleep in your vehicle, except in an authorised camping area.
It does of course depend on your van, the area, and the local police. If you have a UK registered M/H and it is obvious you are intending to stay overnight, or longer, i.e. you are cooking inside, have lights on and blinds up, then be preared for a knock from the authorities.
However, if you are in a plain van, and puul in at night, then you may get away with it.
That said, I know of people who do park up and get away with it, but they are VERY subtle about it.
Good luck if you risk it........at least the Dutch invariably speak excellent English so you will know exactly what they expect from you!!

Not exactly wild camping but a lot of heads of one of the weed forums recommend it for a nice stay and will give you a base to suss things out.
Amsterdam Camping Zeeburg - Welcome to Camping Zeeburg
I am also informed that there is a park and ride car park right near the camp site with free bus for around 7 euro a day so depending on your van you could stealth camp!
All the best.
