Want to take in the Veteran Car Run this weekend, going to try to get nearer the action this time.

Has anyone on here stayed on Maderia Drive lately??, looking on Google Maps, there seem to be loads of vans & caravans there, don't know when the pic was taken.

Also, what about Devil's Dyke?, stayed there last year, restriction notices in place, but still about 10 vans overnight.

I'm a bit out of touch, be glad to hear from anyone staying in the area recently.

I stayed on Madeira drive earlier in the year quite a lot of undesirables on there at the time and the night life was a bit of an eye opener but fine for one night moved the van to the town end during the day though the daytime fees are eye watering.

If you can get in and park there are spaces behind King Alfred centre. Noticed a few vans there recently.
One is a fellow Wildcamper on this site. I had the pleasure of having a cup of tea with.
