wildcamping near reims France

Does anybody know of anywere decent to stop near Reims,also any good places near Geneva,all help will be most helpfull

...nw of Reims we use Abbeye Vauclair, 02 49.45300 3.743700 -quiet spot

Plenty of stops n of Geneva in the Jura mountains -try the various ski stations plenty of free parking.
We stopped a couple of days on the road out of Gex over looking the lake 48.3588 6.026

Hi, My database throws up 6 places in & around Reims. The first two below are in the city.

49.248802,4.021068 This one shows motorhomes entering the parking area.

49.244891,4.026084 This one has large vehicles parked up.

49.174941,3.954506 This one is an Aire at Chamery

Geneva, you can stay at the airport carpark but I prefer this location. maximum of 15 hours.

Check out the website CAMPINGCAR-INFOS - it is in French but easy to follow and lists all the aires and many "stationments" (ie wilding spots) all over the country and beyond. Happy travels.

Hi,

We stayed t the first one on Dezi's list last Aug:

49.248802,4.021068 This one shows motorhomes entering the parking area.

It is very central & free with Water and Waste disposal.

Two min walk to the Tram / metro stop.

The Theater next door is closed and there was about 15 Motorhomes parked up there.
