hi do portugal most years and have a really good time Ihear from friends that parts of pego have been fenced off and that most of the Algarve is now a no go area but the small town traders are up in arms as no money coming from us martin and vanessa

I think some motorhome owners make a nuisance of themselves & outstaying their welcome. I like to think I abide by the 'Rules of Gold' I found on a Portugeuse motorhome website. Portal CampingCar Portugal - O Portal Portugus de Autocaravanismo

It is going to end up like Spain where many of the nice areas are now no go areas for wildcamping. From my experience I find the Dutch the worst culprits & probably us Brits a close second.
