Wildcamping in Bath

Has anyone had the experience of wildcamping in Bath?

No personal experience, but motorhome parking is allowed in the Riverside Coach Park overnight. Although sleeping in vehicles is not officially permitted I understand that the odd night would not be a problem.

Others may have up to date experiences.

I used to park on the riverside coach park in the wagon, usually 5 or 6 wagons a night on there, never paid, never had any bother.
If you are coming in from Bristol, you come in with the river on your left, when you get to the 1 way system, by the railway bridge, look to your left, you will see a multi story carpark, turn left over the bridge, past the carpark, then go through the coachpark and park up at the far end.
Toilets are open till about 8pm I think, and there,s plenty of pubs and eaterys too.
Cheers, Pete

Anyone been in the thermal spring baths. Really quite fancy that....Looks a nice town to chuff around for a couple of days.

Went there a couply of years ago and the thermal baths are great - especially the roof top pool. Although I think you have to book to get in as it can get really busy. Worth the experience though. There's also a comical walking tour which is good fun to do - can't remember the name of it at the moment though.
