Anyone wanting to visit the French Alps
There is a fantastic spot I use regular.
Its a huge carpark in Thollon , near Evian (the water place) .

Many people use it and its free , if you want a hook up you can if you wish connect to the shop "sherpa" for a small fee.

The views are spectacular , one way looks to the mountains , the other overlooks Lake Geneva .

Many places to visit all within 30 mins , inc Montreaux, Evian, Yvoire, Chateau Chillion, Aqua Parc

The locals in Thollon are very friendly and there are some lovely bars and resturants .

Ive got a Geocache in the village too.

Great, what a fantastic looking place.
Going to the Abenteuer & Allrad show in Bad Kissingen, to see some big beastie German expedition trucks, and then down to the Italian Alps so may well come back this way.
Managed to find the escape route from "The Italian Job", that needs to be done too. :drive:

Although with the rate of progress with my van, I'll still be sleeping on a Thermarest on the floor.
