Up at will's O' Nats, for a couple of nights. Meeting up with cousins for a meal.and a few.
Winds 17mph, Southerly. We're parked nose into it.
Tomorrow, gusts of 45mph and heavy rain forecast.
At least we're on the tarmac.
Rock 'n roll.and.plenty of fresh air.

We could see spectacular thunderstorms over Ovenden Moor..

Keep your hat on, you will need it in those winds, you can only blame all those who have been complaining about the heat.

We was going to go up there this weekend but the forecast put us off , if we had known you was going we would have gone . Say hello to Bob for us . Enjoy

I decided to give the North York Moors a miss so headed up to Cumbria.
Parked up on Carrock Fell near Mungrisdale. Not on my usual poi as it like 3 others were occupied so I’ve just parked up near OR Carrock Fell 1.
Windy, raining and cold but still better than staring at the same 4 walls at home.

Big downpour here and lots of home flooded in and around belfast, lucky i live 600ft up on hillside, the sheep are floating round the fields like ping pong balls. :scared:

Trev, you better get down there and get some lamb for your sunday lunch.

Nice and cosy, with the heating on. Winds not as bad as forecast and rain lighter, too. Expected to improve overnight..
We'll pass on your regards to Bob, as he carves our beef at lunchtime.
We were due to go to Rakehill, at Hollingsworth Lake, but chose here for the hard standing.
Pity you couldn't make it... It's Quiz Night, tonight.
Off to Leeds, tomorrow

How will you ever manage without us? We only got beat because the winners were Googling the answers.

Have a Big Peat on me, I'll sort the money out with you later.

Honest.

We decided to put the heating on when Caz surfaced, was okay without but more comfortable with. Getting a bit of rock and roll when a gust hits :)

Thanks, Ral.
I put away a couple last night, sure in the knowledge that you would generously pay for them..
Sun is breaking through, wind, falling. The heating is off and I'm enjoying the first of the emergency rum bottle, in my coffee.
You know I'm not one to complain.

Rakewood at Hollingworth lake has got hard standing , we have got a meet there in November ;)

Cheers, Jeff.
We were worried that we might end up in an enlarged lake !

Anyway, it's more fun to be stranded in the rain, up here.

How much are they charging Paul, I seem to remember all their whiskies were one price? Just looked on Amazon and it is £42.50 a bottle.

That's why I really enjoyed them .
Can I have another couple tonight, if you're still paying?
