Wild Camping near Salcombe Devon

Hello

I joined several months ago and finally we have bought a motorhome. We want to wild camp near Salcombe in South Devon, does anyone have any ideas for us. Thanks.

It's all a bit narrow in that area, there's a couple of laybys on the A381 on the way in, plus there's large and small campsites on the way to Salcombe.

We gave up apart from Exmouth harbour which was still £6/night with others wilding out of season at the end of the marine drive by the new lifeboat station but there were signs of skid marks/boy racer activity so used the harbour wall and woke up to a superb sunrise!!
