wild camping-loch lomond

hi is it still ok to stay the night in the car park beside loch lomond opposite the tarbert hotel in tarbert ?. any update please.

Hi Tony - we were there 3 weeks ago & no problems. No real ale at the hotel though, only keg fizz.

that is because of people partying there the weekends & leaving rubbish around including burnt out tents.
tarbert is on the west side of the lake where the cruises depart from.
there is a caretaker there during the day.
