Hey everyone I'm a new member here, so happy I've found this site. Fallen in love with Wild Camping :). Does anyone know of Wild Camping areas around Avebury that are allowed?

Could be worth asking at one of the pubs in the surrounding area if you could stay on their car park in return for your custom.

Welcome Welcome,
So, What Vehicle, Cycle or Tent you got ?. What sort of area’s do you normally find yourself gravitating to ?. Have you got a pet that enjoys the travels with you ?.
If you consider expanding a little, & or becoming a full member there’s a comprehensive map showing ideas for stops that might be useful 👍😊

stop at the Sanctuary at the bottom of the ridgeway. Opposite the start of the avenue

There is a layby, westbound after the Beckhampton roundabout, on the left. Not particularly flat, but doable. Further along there is the Black Horse pub. I think they still accept vans.

We were moved on late in the evening from the small parking area east of the Beckhampton roundabout, under the trees. Actually in Avebury, there is nothing. The carparks are locked at night and we were "actively" discouraged from getting locked in.

Yes, the small car park at the sanctuary. Also the little service road at stone henge.
