hoping to go to cornwall,we intend to stay with friends for a couple of days then take off for some wildcamping. we will head for falmouth, maybe perrinporth any info welcome.:)

you can overnight in the main car park by the library in st just ....the levant mine nearby is worth a visit , try to go on a day when the pumping engine is steaming

.. I was just about to make a thread about this!

We are thinking of a Alternative Christmas..but being new to the game haven't a clue what the form is....we imagine staying on a 'site' to be alongside 'Caravan Club' people, who will spend the day trying to make there campervan Christmas as much like being home as possible....:eek:

Be good to see how this thread progresses....as for 'wilding' in Cornwall we spent a very pleasant weekend at Kennack Sands on the Lizard.....head down towards the beach and about 100-200yds before you get there on the right (seaward side going down) there is a little carpark....(un)fortuantely a VW was already in residence and we didn't want to ruin there good time...but looked to have magnificent sea views! - Go well stocked not much within walking distance!

Alternatively there is a small private ish car park just outside and overlooking Porttreath, heading up the coast towards Aggie!

were of wilding in scotland over the festive period up to the 4th of january heading up as far as we can go then finding a pub

We're doing scotgate caravan site in Braithwaite, near Keswick, 29th dec to the 2nd jan, thats if its not underwater......

Don't forget Tintagel, loads of car parks on right as you drive in, just a few quid a night. Great coastal walks and Arthurs' ruins
