Telegraph

Amongst other rubbish this was included,
Quote "Authorities across the country have reported a rise in people camping at beauty spots without permission, or parking campervans in motorway lay-bys "

What, or where are do you find motorway lay-bys, sound a very dangerous place to me!

No lay-bys on our motorways.

Must be one of those smart motorways you have down there. :)

Whilst we accept wild camping (tent) is illegal in a national park, you really despair when the park spokesman does not differentiate between the dirty campers and the leave no trace responsible types.
The newspaper also seems to carry an article on camping, with a picture of a tent (wilding) on a beautiful mountain location with the golden sun setting in the background.
It also has an article about how the Uk is running out of campervans to buy. Both of these require a payment to read. There does seem to also be a large number of articles promoting foreign travel. Very responsible, not!

I've read they are doing the Smart thing with Smart motorways -getting rid of some as they are actually incredible dangerous according to the stats

Whilst I do not expect anything better from the Telegraph, a paper I rarely read, I have decided to stop reading our daily paper, The Guardian, due to the constant rehash of covid information and general negative reporting.
I read the Times from time to time in which I can find some more varied stories, but I have decided not to read a news paper more than once a week.
I would like to point out that it would be better to send your comments to the editor concerned.
(Yes I have)

thats a bit like here in cornwall.
no motorways down here.
cant beat a nice drive out on country lanes for a bit of fun.
