Were off to Whitby for the bank holiday any one else going that way.

Was there last weekend for the goth weekend (just as a spectator of course)
Stayed at Hook House Farm in Robin Hoods Bay about 5 miles from Whitby

We were there last weekend. Wilding on a disused (by-passed) stretch of the A171 just south of The Flask Inn and North of the Harwood Dale turning, approx 6 miles south of Whitby. Turning is on the brow of the hill on a fairly fast stretch of road.
Overnighted there a few times and usually have a quiet night.
Moors footpath ends here. Great for walking the dog.

Us and another couple are going to be staying on the long stay car park behind the co-op car park.
