Which motorhome insurance company do you use and why?

I used AIB for the very first time this year and I cannot fault them.

Better quote than our usual local brokers and the customer service guy was brilliant, really on the ball, efficient and generally top notch all round.

Of course the proof of the pudding will be if we ever need to make a claim... but initial impressions are excellent 👍👌

Caravan Guard, AIB always more expensive. May be to do with my postcode, always shop around every renewal but to date Caravan Gaurd always competitive so don’t bother changing.

Used AIB last year but to expensive this year so have gone with the NFU but use comfort on another vehicle.

Safeguard for me and have been for 12 years. This runs out in 4/5 weeks just after the new MH arrives. It’ll be interesting to see how much extra it’s going to cost me, the changeover will not cost anything for the 1/2 weeks of cover from the old policy apart from £25 admin fee (I don’t think Phil gets that, I may be wrong? :ROFLMAO: )

Safeguard because they offer me the cover that I require at a competitive premium. Their paperwork is straightforward and accurate. I used AIB last year and vowed never again: paperwork appalling and potential extra charges left, right and centre.

Aib for car and van, caus aa would not cover the van, first year was with a flux.

I was with AIB, but their price increase was too great, so I shopped around, and got a much better deal with Adrian Flux. AIB wasn't able to get anywhere near the quote, and seemed surprised.

Via the CCC with RAC cover too, price was very competitive and because I am paranoid:eek:

Used AIB this year and last, but they weren’t able to give me a competitive quote on my car.

Saga, always cheaper for me and when I had an accident they were excellent, I still shop around though

One that never seems to get mentioned but I use Grove & Dean private clients.Renewed today ,comes with full uk breakdown and recovery but paid £50 extra for europe.

use AIB for the van......seem to get a good quote. and staff very quick efficient and helpful...and also answer the phone pretty quick.

Another AIB user here.

Always been efficient and no complaints pricewise or otherwise.

I used AIB for our camper and had issues with refund after cancelling a policy but was sorted out after a bit haggling and having to speak to a manager. We used them again when we got another van and had a fiasco regarding a windscreen replacement that they weren’t willing to help with.
So when I get another van I know who it won’t be using.
