Where is the data for the wild camping gathered from

I have been a member for a number of years. I have found the use of the wild camp spots a little frustrating as I like to read the reviews and a lot I have used does not have any reviews. Also I have traveled to places on the map, only to find its either a no parking area or a passing place. April in the Outer Hebrides I came across a number of these. Which I reported.
I have given a number of reviews on locations I have stopped at but whilst in France this month. Without reviews I didn't want to travel a distance to find it was an illegal parking place. I found myself looking on google maps for reviews. I did leave a couple of reviews until I realised all the spots in France have not necessarily submitted but somehow obtained? I actually found good information on Google maps for my trip.
So I ask myself what is this site for? meetups? Chatting?

Originally pleased but now totally disappointed with the information for locations.

So, my interpretation.
The POIs are only as good if they are periodically reviewed & commented on by the people that put them forward for consideration & the members that then use them. What ones have you Put forward, Used & Reviewed recently (specifically Northern Scotland) so I can have a look on the POI app to see if any of the ones you’ve commented on take my fancy ?
The Forum as a whole is a Treasure Trove of information through likeminded people with a Plethora of knowledge & common interest.
You only get out of it what you put in.
Have fun, Learn a thing or two & Make ‘Friends’ some in real life through travelling on the road, some through meet ups, some are only in the Vurtual world that this invaluable platform provides.

I agree about the input from members. But how many do.
I can't remember which ones i reviewed exactly. I think a couple in the outer hebredies. (Maybe one in great burnaray)I've reported a couple as there are no motorhome signs.
